Jackie Mittoo was born in Jamaica in 1948 and died in 1990. He was a Jamaican keyboardist who learned to play piano at the age of 4 and grew up to be a triple album creator. He immigrated to Toronto in the end of the 60’s and it was there were he recorded his three albums, which expressed his roots with reggae feel. This album is a reissue of Mittoo’s 1971 “hello kiss.”
