On a farm somewhere up north, a new Music Cooperative founded by singer/songwriter Seth Bernard is cooking up something good. Seth’s Earthwork Music acts as an independent record label, Michigan songwriter collective and promotions agency for Seth, Daisy May, Daniel Kahn and others.

The latest example of these Michigan artists working together is the new solo disc from Steppin’ In It vocalist and songwriter Joshua Davis. The new disc puts Josh front and center as the Earthworks troupe apply their talents to 10 new original songs.
