It is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius…or so The Polyphonic Spree would have you believe.

This 29-piece “choral symphonic pop band” from Dallas espouses the value of happiness. One could surely read in connotations of communal living and hippy virtue.

These staunch opponents of Pro Tools, lead by former Tripping Daisy band member Tim DeLaughter, boast a ten-member choir, a pair of keyboardists, a percussionist, bassist, guitarist, flautist, trumpeter, trombonist, violist, a French horn player and a theremin player.

Come on people now. Smile on your brother.
