WYCE presents Local Spins Live at Speak EZ Lounge - every Wednesday night at 8pm! This series features a wide array of the best musicians in the West Michigan area, performing in a casual setting with no cover charge.
Tonight, Local Spins Live presents Grand Rapids band The Hacky Turtles, harboring an eclectic recipe of alternative funk/rock with a decent dollop of dirty folk.

Hosts Nanette O'Connell and Capt'n Kurt sit down with our 2018 Programmer Hall of Fame inductees - Mike Scot, The Driver, and Julie Swanson - as they reminisce about their time in the Big Chair and spin some of their favorite tunes. This year we also say thanks to our volunteer station engineer Don Missad for helping keep us afloat.

The Rapidian invites you to "Celebrating One Another: A Storytelling Benefit for The Rapidian" at Wealthy Theatre, Monday, May 7th at 6:30pm.
The event includes short stories told by a diverse group of community members on stage and interactive opportunities for attendees to tell their own stories. There will also be a silent auction and cash bar.
The Rapidian is a service of Grand Rapids Community Media Center.
