About Jerry Get Kind

I've been living under a rock since 1986, but I'll catch up on all the new music soon. The thing to know about me is that I have a truly awful memory. I don't remember band names. When I see the name of a band, I don't remember what they sound like, or what that song by them was that I liked a whole lot. So every time I prep for a show, I'm coming in cold. I pick albums at random and listen to songs off them at random, and hope I can find something I like enough to share with my listeners. On top of that, I'm a contrarian. I try to pick bands that haven't got much airplay in a while, and the albums by them that haven't got much airplay, and the songs on those that have been neglected by my fellow programmers. Lots of times I find gold.
