Jamaican born Monty Alexander brings a Caribbean influence and bright swinging feeling to a style influenced by Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Oscar Peterson, and Frank Sinatra. 

 The concert opens with local support from the Kathy Lamar / Robin Connell Quintet, followed by the Lawrence Barry Trio.
