Feel It All The TimeSometimes, Forever 2022 via Loma Vista
I am desperately trying to play the song you Shazam (we also show the 'now playing' songs on wyce.org so you don't have to worry about two apps). Sometimes I describe my music as hard listening music. And I don't mean that it's bad. But there's easy listening music (and I play some of that too don't worry), which is great in the background. And then there's the music that kinda demands you pay attention to it - hard listening. That's what I'm going for at least. And you might hate it and that's ok. Don't tell my boss, because the customers are always right, but this show is as much for me as it is for you. Most importantly, if you call in and tell me that your pet is at home listening to WYCE 88.1, I'll give them a shout-out on air and tell them you love them! My four-legged listeners are my favorite
West Michigan's Biggest Night of Music, the WYCE Jammie Awards, returns for its 24th year on Friday, February 23rd, at the Intersection!
This year's Jammies will feature 19 Michigan bands on three stages with award presentations for Best Album of 2023, Song of the Year, the Listener Choice Awards, and more, including the brand new Against All Odds Award presented by Varnum Law.
For the first time, The WYCE Jammies will be offering a VIP experience, which includes access to a private lounge and viewing area, a Jammies 24 shirt, and a signature cocktail courtesy of Stock 'Da Bar Vodka.
Doors for this all-ages event open at 5:30 pm, and music starts at 6. Entry is a suggested donation of $5, and we will also be collecting canned donations at the door for Feeding America West Michigan.
The 2024 WYCE Jammies 24 are presented by Varnum Law... with additional support from Founder's Brewing, Tiger Solar, Patriot Realty, Vertigo Music, and Stock 'Da Bar Vodka.
We know you are here for the music, so we give you less talk!
We tell you what music we played, inform you of upcoming events, share public service announcements and then we play more music!
We play more music than any other station on the dial. We can only remain commercial free with your donations. Visit our website at WYCE dot org and click on the "donate" button to help support 88.1 FM WYCE.
