THE PUPPETEERS

The Puppeteers

1014-02-24

Springing from the remains of Brooklyn jazz club, Puppet's Jazz, is jazz quartet The Puppeteers.  Grounding the band is former club founder/house drummer, Jaime Affoumado.  Other band members: Arturo O'Farrill on piano, Bill Ware on vibes, and Alex Blake on bass all bring their own vast experience with them on this musical project.  Combined, the band offers tight rhythms with vibes and piano often trading on the melody on these original compositions. The Puppeteersmakes a pleasant addition of mostly mid-tempo tunes to today's jazz offerings.     Rebecca Ruth
