ZIGGY MARLEY

Love is My Religion

2006-06-26

"This album is from my heart," says Ziggy Marley, son of the late Bob Marley. Full of inspiration, Ziggy’s second solo album blends the sounds of blues, R&B, hop-hop, and reggae. Themes from his debut, Dragonfly, are revisited and further explored. Yet the album, as its name suggests, centers around universal brotherhood, a message that “people need to hear.” 1. “light it up” 3. “love is the song we make tonight” the song is about sex 4. “Before I met you, I was real low, now everyone know / now that I know you hey I’m real high” 6. “Pakalolo” (Hawaiian word for marijuana) -Ben Kleyn
