Brazil’s Rosa Passos was born into a musical family and raised on the works of bossa nova legend Joao Gilberto. After seven solo recordings and high profile international appearances on Yo-Yo Ma’s Obrigado Brazil sessions and tour, the vocalist, songwriter and guitarist has become known as the “Joao Gilberto of Skirts”.

Her latest album features four Gilberto compositions from the 1977 album Amoroso and more Brazilian She’s joined by several musicians from the Obrigado Brazil sessions, including percussionist Cyro Baptista.
