An impressive 12-string guitar player who has built quite a following through extensive touring and a reputation as a terrifically entertaining live performer. At The Point is a collection of a couple of Nathanson’s solo shows, appeasing fans who longed for an album that combined his comedic interludes with his energetic rock tunes. Though some language on the album may not be friendly to some ears, give a listen to his heartbreaking love song bridge #2-3 “Angel” and “I Saw”, his calm melody #8 “Bent”, and quiet but killer finale #17 “Suspended”.
