Pete Kennedy

Tone, Twang and Taste

2014-04-01

Pete Kennedy 1/2 of the Kennedy's delivers a solid effort of acoustic jazz, blues and yes twang solo guitar on a disc that will positively lift your spirits. Pete channels the sounds of Les Paul, Chet Atkins & Djano Reinhart and moves his name in with the masters. The sounds on this disc have a real 1940's-50's quality and shows the beauty created with a Gibson before the days of Rock & Roll. Pete even takes on the Gershwin classic Rhapsody In Blue & Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. It will take only one listen to this disc to show that Pete Kennedy is one of the greatest guitar players alive today. Reviewed By: Gregg Saur
