The Hot Club of San Francisco

John Paul George & Django

2016-11-28

I have to say this was a pretty unique album to listen to. All of the songs on the album are Beatles Covers. The cool thing is that none of them really sound like the classic tunes you are so used to listening to. For example track 8, "If I Needed Someone", is done with French Lyrics with their own sort of jazzy/mexican mix put to it. Then you have Track 11, "For No One", which is very string oriented using Violins, and Stand Up Bases. Almost all of the tracks are instrumental for the exception of tracks 8, 11, and 14. Additionally they like to pay Homage to Django Reinhardt as well through all of this. Check it out, its worth a listen regardless of what your favorite Beatles Tunes Might be.
