PRIMUS

and the Chocolate Factory

2014-10-18

Primus & The Chocolate Factory brings together the classic Primus line-up. It's great to hear Les Claypool, Larry LaLonde, and Tim Alexander together again for the first time in almost twenty years. Who better than Primus to re-make the entire soundtrack to the original Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory film!  Along for the ride is percusionist, Mike Dillon (Critters Buggin) and cellist, Sam  Bass (Frog Brigade).  Adding to the bizarreness,  drummer Tim Alexander doesn't use a drum kit. He reportedly "sat behind a giant pile of things to bang on".  Primus is embracing the whole Willy Wonka concept and besides considering doing a stage production for kids, is selling Primus Bars at the shows. One Mr. Krinkle bar, please!
