ANGELIQUE KIDJO

Djin Djin

2007-04-11

The four-time Grammy nominated singer from Benin, Africa has collaborated with a few well know pop stars in Djin Djin. Despite a few duets with Alicia Keys, Carlos Santana, Josh Groban, Joss Stone, Peter Gabriel, and Ziggy Marley this album prevails with true worldly vibe. How could someone fluent in four languages not come across worldly? I think the release of Djin Djin is the determining album that says Kidjo has "made it," where ever "it" may be. -MK
