Guy Pearce, of cult fave film Memento fame, has thrown himself into his most recent role in the film A Slipping Down Life. Playing a rocker, he also picks up the guitar, croons & snarls through this collection of soundtrack tunes.

Songs are crafted by the likes of Robyn Hitchcock, Ron Sexsmith, Catie Curtis, Vic Chestnut & Joe Henry, who also gets the production credits. Most are ballads.

Pearce has a voice that throbs in a sensual way that will surely please the female listeners (and chick programmers, ooh la la).
