Sigmatropic: 16 Haiku & Other Stories

2004-02-18

Lush musical tones
Twenty-two brilliant poems
Spring comes in Winter

Sigmatropic contains 22 shortish tracks performed by folks like Alejandro Escovedo, Mark Eitzel, Cat Power, John Grant (The Czars) and Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab).

All are poems, 16 of which are haikus, by the late Greek poet George Sefaris, winner of the 1963 Noble Prize for Literature.
Great album - what a nice little treat.
