From 1999 to 2002, Joe Strummer (The Clash, Mescaleros) had his own radio show on the BBC. He played what he wanted, when he wanted and most of these tunes were ones that had shaped and inspired him. This compilation showcases these songs and some previously unreleased ones from Joe with The Clash and The Mescaleros. Strummer loved life, music, art, and standing strong in his convictions. This compilation was released around the same time as the documentary with the same name. It’s a peek into the conflicting and yet inspiring world of Joe Strummer. Reviewed By LaRaePAUL THORN
