Great stuff!  Shows you what love can do:  New Yorker Chris Root is drawn to South America because of his love of the musical rhythms, meets Brazilian chantreuse Juju and they begin making beautiful and unique music together ---- some dominated by Juju's Brazilian upbringing and others by Root's urban folk-rock influences.  It makes for a delightful WYCE cocktail, with the cuts varying from one continent to another. The first four songs sound like Sergio Mendes meets Donna the Buffalo, the next two are a bit more straight-forward folk-rock and for the rest of the disc we hear a more even blending of the styles.  Some cuts are in English, others in Spanish.  Samba with a rock twist. Delightful, upbeat music!
