This label started in Holland, MI in 1999. It has since grown to include New York and Lander, WY. This sampler features artists you know such as Sufjan Stevens (check out his "Bushwick Junkie"), and artists you should get to know, such as Birthday Cakes (quiet folk-pop), Lifestyles&Vistas (a little like The Breeders), Jason Brouwer (quiet pop), and my favorite, Con Los Dudes (solid rock with B3 organ licks). All in all this is a solid sampling of interesting (and up and coming?) indie folk-rock. Reviewed by Rebecca RuthHONOR FINNEGAN
