Brooks Long & The Mad Dog No Good

Mannish Boys

2017-04-06

I actually ended up liking this album quite a bit at the end of the day. It has a very soul/motown feel to it, which is unique there in itself. I thought they kind of sounded like a James Brown mixed with The Jackson 5 but with some themes from the likes of Muddy Waters, which is a testament to the title of the Album which is an Old Muddy Waters song. Pretty good, and i would definitely add it to my collection. Check out tracks 2, 4, 13, and 14 for some of the better tunes on the record.
