When you think of Rodney Crowell, think of Ralston. Look no further than the first track for the anthem from this record. After that there are about 3 other radio tunes and a bunch of 'tweeners', songs that might be appropriate when you're not looking to land a heavy blow. My favorite Joe Henry, who also produced this record, is on #6 but your average listener won't pick him out from the crowd. I'm sure the cutesy phrase "Truth Decay" has been used somewhere before so avoid that one.
