ARK LIFE

THE DREAM OF YOU & ME

2014-09-16

If you take the sounds of The Head & The Herat, mix in a big dose of Hot House Flowers you will find the terrific sounds of Denver Colorado's Ark Life. The bands songwriter, guitarist & vocalist Jessie Elliot combines Americana with a soulful sound that shares a unique resemblance to Liam O Manonlai. Jessie's vocals are highly complemented by the three part harmonies of keyboardist Lindsay Giles, bassist Anna Morsett & Guitarist Natalie Tate giving a rich texture to this slice of Americana. Ark Life's music has been described as open air, open highway music with a little bit of soul that can be sung around a glaring campfire. The Dream Of You And Me grows better after each listen and should make it way out of the Rocky Mountain State and into your car and living room. Reviewed By; Gregg Saur
