Another dead hero. Joe Strummer (nee John Mellor) passed on in December 2002.  He left a legacy that included the foundation of The Clash, the seminal 70's punk outfit; a stint as producer and stand-in vocalist for Irish rockers The Pogues; and three solo releases with his new band The Mescaleros. Joe died in the midst of recording this roaring mix of rock, punk and reggae that he has dubbed "Streetcore".  Slainte, Joe.
