RobinElla

Solace for the Lonely

2005-12-03

RobinElla Tipton, and the CC String and is back with a slightly modified name. RobinElla’s voice, while reminding you of the style and class of Billie Holiday, incorporates her husband (the CC) Cruz Contreras’ mandolin and jazz piano along with other family members and friends in the band into somewhat of a jazz-bluegrass-gospel group. Robinella was born and lives just south of Knoxville, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Daughter of a baptist deacon and choir leader, she’s been singing in church and the shower her entire life. -Pete
