Ryan Corn

The Pressure

2017-04-26

Ryan Corn's EP, The Pressure, is pop music in essence but with deeper sentiment to it. His music is catchy, yet provides the emotion that often lacks in pop music today. Instrumentally, it doesn't feel as heavily produced and synthesized as most modern pop. Ryan utilizes clean guitar, piano, and the trumpet, which helps give it the emotional edge that is often missing today. It is a fresh take on pop, and to me, vocally and stylistically sounds similar to Adam Levine and Nick Jonas. Favorite tracks are 1, 2, and 4.
