AUDREY AULD MEZERA

LOST MEN AND ANGRY GIRLS

1969-12-31

AUDREY AULD MEZERA LOST MEN AND ANGRY GIRLS Although Audrey has lived in the USA since 2003 this Australian born singer & songwriter proves that the land down under is inspiring a new following of Roots & Country musicians. It is real easy to make comparisons to Mary Gauthier with her vocal styling’s laid back sound. The CD chronicles Audrey’s journey through America over the past 3 years with tales of the places & people she met on her journey. Her musical partner who produced this disc also adds vocal support on the tracks “Buck Hungry” and “Clinch Mountain Prayer”. I enjoyed this disc but as my comparison with Mary Gauthier I was searching for something more upbeat before I reached the last track. Reviewed By: Gregg Saur
