I thought they sounded like a combination of Hayes Carll with some southern influences involved. They are in fact good friends with Whiskey Myers who is making some waves in the music scene. Overall i would consider them American Folk for sure. I felt the album was pretty solid, and have a few good tunes for sure, but thought they were sort of all over the place with what they were trying to achieve for the album. I like tracks 1, 6, 9, and 13 the most on the album.
