Think of One is an Antwerp-based band and this album is their attempt at bringing western and Arabic music together. By adding Moroccan musicians to their crew, they have successfully blended western electronic, rap, and rock music with Moroccan shaabi. These songs vary from upbeat rock (with Flemish lyrics)in #3 "Wereld NI", to the traditional Arabic track #5 "Gnawa Power" with its call and response vocals, to the French pop of #6 "Fantome". Other highlights are the quiet and jazzy #11 "Sharia Orabi", and the Moroccan rock of #14 "Alela Minena". Check out the Flemish rap on track 10 "Trap het af". Reviewed by Rebecca RuthANGELIQUE KIDJO
