GROUPLOVE

Spreading Rumours

2013-10-14

Spreading Rumours is the second release from LA band, Grouplove.  Formed in 2009, the band has had some success with songs from its first album placed in ads (Coke, iPod) and used in television (Glee).  With Spreading Rumours, the band continues to make catchy indie-pop that is often infused with electronica.  I found this to be an entertaining, though altogether forgettable listen.              Rebecca Ruth
