New Birth Brass Band

New Birth Family

2005-01-31

The New Birth Brass Band was formed in the mid 80’s in the 6th Ward New Orleans living room of Mrs. Elaine Terry, mother of New Birth trumpeter Kenny Terry.

The band’s line-up has changed greatly over the years and this album is a reunion of sorts, bringing many past members back into the fold.

The CD was recorded live at the Truck Farm Studio in New Orleans and many of the songs were captured in just one take. It’s more great brass band music to get you into the Mardi Gras Spirit.
