That’s what comes to my mind anyway, and "Little Star", the group's second full-length release, works. Doris. Nate. Tylan. Freshly signed up to Amy Ray's indie label Daemon Records, this Brooklyn-based trio of old friends is harmonic and enjoyable. Doris M’s vocals are unexpectedly rich and bold, all trade songwriting credits, all sing, and you’re likely to see any one of them on banjo, percussion, guitar, or mandolin duties depending on the song.
