Laurence Hobgood Trio

Honor Thy Fathers

2016-03-25

Normally when you have a rock band that is a trio, you call them a power trio as you have so much going on in the band and music. In this case you have the same thing happening, just no lyrics to match up. I liked how these guys explored their musical side by doing some of their own tunes and throwing in some covers by Steve Wonder and Nat King Cole. It was not too bad. It definitely was getting better as the album moved along.
