MUDDY V AND THE HOUSE ROCKERS

Muddy V and The House Rockers

2008-10-15

Muddy V and The House Rockers West Michigan’s Muddy V & The House Rockers sound like a great time to have at your party. They offer up a high energy set of classic blues tracks that would be sure to create some sweat on the dance floor. The only problem is you would leave the party hearing nothing new. Seven of the eight tracks are well done covers of some of the biggest blues tracks ever recorded. Muddy V {Chris VanHoven} proves he can do justice to these tracks and WYCE listeners will enjoy the high energy brought to these covers. I hope the next Muddy V release will include more creative originals like the well done instrumental “Jukes” on this release. It’s great to relive the classics but just like listening to classic rock it’s only so long before you’re looking for something new. Reviewed By: Gregg Saur
