Jim Lauderdale

Headed for the Hills

2004-05-24

Fresh off a collaboration with Donna the Buffalo, Nashville-based singer songwriter Jim Lauderdale returns with Headed for the Hills. On the new album, all the songs were written with long-time Grateful Dead songwriter Robert Hunter (as in, "what a long strange trip it's been").

And everyone came along for the ride, Donna the Buffalo returns for a song and he’s also accompanied by Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Alison Moorer, Darrell Scott, Buddy Miller, Tim O'Brien and many more.
