Luke Lenhart

Family and Friends

“Family and Friends” by Luke Lenhart is exactly that; family and friends playing some relaxed bluegrass and traditional folk tunes. The album is 13 tracks featuring Luke on mandolin and banjo, his mom Beverly on the doghouse bass, and two of his cousins and a few good friends adding squeezebox, guitars, fiddle and vocals. Recorded at River City Studios (Grand Rapids, MI), the album covers songs from Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, and Paul McCartney, a few traditional folk tunes, and even an original composition by local musicians Eric Clark and Monique Doolittle. “Family and Friends” is a nice assortment of slower paced songs that creates a mellow listening experience from some well respected west Michigan musicians Best Tracks: #1 BILLY IN THE LOWGROUND, #7 CALICO SKIES, #11 DEVIL’S DREAM (traditional) FCC Naughty List: NONE Who would like this cd: bluegrass fans, traditional folk music fans
