Erin is an East Coast folkie who grew up in Virginia and made her mark on the Boston music scene. She initially distinguished herself from the crowd as a multi-instrumentalist with a tendency to explore gypsy jazz, torch songs, blues and swing.Ms. McKeown's 4th release finds her departing from her trademark sound in favor of a band-oriented pop rock approach. The result is pleasing, proving her to still be one of the most versatile young artists around.
