Although uncanny resemblances to Pavement and Mogwai (at times) are apparent, Minmae create a sound that is generally their own, especially when they let the saxophone come to the forefront. Combining the usual rock outfit instruments with random bursts of short wave radio, Minmae can be quite ambient sonically, at times. However, they aren't all about the dynamic troughs, though.
