Next To Herbie Mann i would have to say that Gerald Beckett is one of the better Flute players i have listened to, and especially on the newer age front. So nice to hear someone producing music like this and putting the flute to good use. I was actually quite surprised at how good it sounded overall. Pretty neat little cover of "So What" from Miles Davis. He also does a few other covers as well on the album, which are unique in their own way as they are primarily jazz/world music tunes and put their Flute Spin on them. Not too bad overall.
