In its most recent partnership with the GreenHome Institute, a West Michigan-based not-for-profit with a mission to empower people to make healthier and more sustainable choices in the renovation and construction of the places we live, GRTV's Production Services provides a look into a new house constructed near Zeeland, MI.
The home is a "Zero Energy Ready" property, efficiently designed to reduce its impact on the environment and control costs as energy prices rise. This GreenStar Home Certification project features Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) walls, impressive air sealing, triple pane windows, a modulating heat pump, Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), and passive-solar design.
