Bebel Gilberto

2004-07-12

Bebel Gilberto is quietly becoming an international Latin recording star.

The daughter of Brazilian bossa nova legend Joao (zhow) Gilberto waited until her 20’s to try to grasp the ring. It’s paid off with two mature pop albums.

The new self-titled release was recorded in London, New York, Rio de Janeiro and Bahia by Bjork and Madonna collaborator Marius deVries.
