There Is A Moth In Your Chest

2006-10-13

Basically every style of music you’ve ever heard combined with psychopathic tendencies, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), emotional problems, a very crude sense of humor, oh yeah, and some wild instruments. It is difficult to find words to describe this brand new band to the scene, but it doesn’t really matter, because they are ridiculously entertaining and fun to listen to. Their style is kind of like a sick mixture of The Shins, Panic at the Disco, Modest Mouse, Muse, and Death Cab for Cutie…to put it mildly. I’m excited to see the potential of this band; they know how to use their resources and their creative limits are seemingly endless. Tracks to listen to: 1-“A Chance Encounter” 2-“Miss Marylou Carreau” 3-“100 years” 6-“Mr. Charm” 7-“I Spy” 11-“My My (Badfruit)” and 12-“Carousel!Carousel!” Jake Burritt
