This Austin band has built a huge local following and is starting to catch on everywhere else. Their free-form, rootsy grab of country and folk-rock won them last year's Best New Band at the Austin Music Awards. Everything I’ve read and heard about them says they are a live show not to be missed. Produced by Ray Wylie Hubbard, this album includes guest musicians such as Patty Griffin, Gurf Morlix, and even Ray himself. “Stones fans who loved the Band but prefer the Gourds to the Black Crowes will be very happy with The Band of Heathens…” (The Austin Chronicle) Reviewed By LaRae WYCE ProgrammerHOT CLUB OF COWTOWN
